NFL Top 5 Quarterbacks

Posted September 3rd @ 3 September, 2010

. NFL Quarterback - Peyton Manning, Colts This is a no brainer. If this review was based solely on athletic ability, Manning wouldn?t be number one. But we are talking about all around quarterback and there is no one that compares to Manning. He is the smartest quarterback, one of the most precise quarterback, and easily one of the best quarterbacks to come around in a while. Look for Peyton to challenge his own TD record again this year. 2. NFL Quarterback - Tom Brady, Patriots Again, not ...

NFL Previews

Posted September 2nd @ 2 September, 2010

1. New England Patriots: Any team that has won 3 out of the last 4 Super Bowls belongs to be number 1 in any NFL preview. Plus when you have Tom Brady on your team who is a proven winner, you are number 1. This is a team-oriented team. They play as a team and not as a bunch of individuals like other teams. Many teams have more talent but nobody has been able to stop the Pats. The addition of Dillon last year made this team that much better. The major question now is how are they going to ...

Typical Fantasy Draft Day Mistakes

Posted September 1st @ 1 September, 2010

Top Five Most Common Draft Day Mistakes It's seems like you see him every year. He may be a close friend or even a relative, or he could just be someone you are meeting for the first time: He's the new guy. He walks into your fantasy draft with three things: An outdated fantasy magazine that was printed in June, a pen and a bag of pork rinds. He's probably wearing some gear of his favorite team while he babbles on how 'His teams' QB is really going to clean up this season because it's finally ...

Posted August 30th @ 30 August, 2010

Will the football betting trends for the Super Bowl Participants revert back to the norm or are we looking at a new trend? Until last year, the past 10 years the winners of the Super Bowl are a combined 58-79 ATS for a lousy 42% win ratio following their Super Bowl victory. While the losers of the Super Bowl are even worse the following year at 64-94 for a 41% win ratio. Combined, that is a record of 122-173 ATS for a low 41% win ratio. Keep Pounding--In Honor of Sam Mills

Posted August 29th @ 29 August, 2010

On Thursday, April 21, 2005, we buried a true NFL warrior who was an inspiration off the field and on the field. The man? Sam Mills, #51. The Monday before, Sam lost a 2 year battle with intestinal cancer. Not only did he leave behind his wife and 4 kids but he left, not 1, but 2 legacies. 1st legacy-- Sam Mills was one of the hardest hitting linebackers in the USFL and the NFL. But he spent his career proving that his undersized 5-foot-9 frame wasn't going to keep him from being one of pro ...

Greatness Falls at the Hands of a True Legend

Posted August 28th @ 28 August, 2010

It's implausible to imagine the player who broke the most coveted record in football being remembered as the guy that couldn't win the big game. Peyton Manning bears that ugly scar. After shattering Dan Marino's single season touchdown passing record, throwing for 49 TD passes, Manning's legacy was almost guaranteed to be that of one of the greatest signal callers ever. That is, until last Sunday, when in three repugnant hours of chaos and confusion, it all melted away. Previously known for his ...

3-Pointer

1st Point - When victims attack! Let me see if I understand this. The accuser in Kobe Bryant's alleged rape assault, who was allegedly so traumatized by the event that she could have sex again within 48 hours, also feels that a cap of 2.5 million dollars is not sufficient enough to ease her pain and suffering. So, instead of continuing a criminal trial, that would see both her attacker behind bars and her bank account secured for years, her, and her defense team, decide to withdraw the criminal ...

Posted August 26th @ 26 August, 2010

Callused, rough feet and hands are a common problem for professional and amateur athletes alike. When their feet and hands are not in top shape, it's a silent factor that hurts a player's game. Carol J. Buck, CEO of Xenna Corporation, says, "A number of top professional football and basketball teams have used our products to keep their feet and hands in top condition, including the New York Jets, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, San Antonio Spurs and Orlando Magic." The Colts Won't Be In The Super Bowl

Posted August 25th @ 25 August, 2010

Listen, the Colts won't be in the Super Bowl--again--this season. That hasn't stop Colts fans--and bandwagon jumpers--from running around in a frenzy. The Colts are 9-0 this season, which was their record at this time in 2005 also. They've won a couple games by a hair, like last week's 17-16 win at Buffalo--thanks to a missed Bills field goal and some other missed plays. After the Colts beat the Patriots, fans were running around claiming to be the number one team in the NFL. They wanted ...
